Guess whose school bus stopped right in the middle of morning traffic on the 10 West?
Stopped. On the middle lane of the freeway...
30 students + 3 teachers + 3 teaching assistants + 5 parents, and a bus driver.
Thank you CHP officer who used his patrol car to push an old bus to the emergency lane
(No other cars would like our bus driver go right when the bus was dying!)
and then he jump started the bus.
30 minutes or so later...
A four minute tram ride up to the top of the hill and the Getty Center...
Explored the beautiful garden, quick snack, and making some observations in the galleries before lunch and back to school.
Quick taste of art history.
Too quick.
But hoping to light a small flame in my little artists.

*Number 45 just released his budget. He wants to eliminate the NEA (National Endowments of the Arts) and Public Broadcasting funding. I'll have more to write about that this weekend.
