We continued our discussion on the book This is Not My Hat. I love this book because it's simple and the pictures really convey everything you need to know. It's the best book to use for young children when teaching the skill of inferring. The ending leaves it up to the reader to imagine the outcome. (Warning: spoiler alert!)

So much to think about in this simple, yet powerful story!

I labeled this FAT FRIDAY because from the moment we arrived at school until the moment we said goodbye to the students... there was food! Fresh churros at sign in, fresh Mexican bread from on TA, fresh tamales from team partner, we had 4 boxes of girl scout cookies already, and was greeted at the dismissal gate with a big bag of fresh cinnamon pretzel bites from a favorite parent! #toomuch #neversaydietinETK #Lovemyteam
