Day 176 #Year 31
It was a special day today for 23-5 year olds...
And their teachers!
And their teachers!
Some of my lovely ladies! #GirlsRule
Not to be upstaged, my handsome boys! #BoysRuletoo
We all have different styles!
Two of my very special friends who have been in our class for two years!
When your teaching partner photobombs you! #hedoesthatalot!
Parents did an amazing job decorating!
Wonderful memories for all...
But remind me not to stand like that ever!

Day 175 #Year 31 It's the Final Countdown!
Five days left in my 31st year of teaching.
Can't believe how fast the year flew by.
I remember my first year of teaching.
It seemed to have lasted forever and a day.
Now, it feels more like a speeding train ride.
It was the last day of school for my boys.
I now have a senior in high school
and a middle schooler.
How did that happen?!
5th Grade & Preschool
7th Grade and First Grade
Third Grade and 9th Grade
Today we had to say goodbye to our friend.
We watched it grow from larva to pupa to adult.
It was hard to let go,
but it needed to be free.
We watched it fly out the door and soar high
over our buildings.
We watched as a big black crow hovered over our friend.
We didn't see what happened if anything.
We hoped it made it to live another day.
It was a lesson learned.
#Sciencelearning
I know that culmination is not always a big thing,
but when you have parents willing to take the lead,
well you just go with it.
I remember how much I enjoyed watching Bryce's culmination
from his preschool program years before.
Why not celebrate.
We should celebrate.
We will celebrate our year of learning.
Tomorrow we will.
